Description
If you have students who are finding it hard to differentiate between the short i and e sounds, then this is the game for you!
Minimal pairs (e.g. bit/bet, pet/pit) and targeted word chains are provided to highlight the contrast between the two sounds. Miss Mess is also pictured with an igloo and an egg on her head as a sound cue – these match the embedded picture mnemonics also available on this site.
You are also provided with a second version of the game which targets these vowel sounds as they occur before the /l/ sound as the sound is often distorted in this context.
Format: PDF
Pages: 27 over two documents
