Complex Sentences: Relative Clauses
NZD 8.99
Description
Typically developing children begin to use complex sentences between 2-3 years of age (Diessel, 2004). Relative clauses give us additional information about people and objects. Relative clauses emerge in the preschool years, but are infrequently used by preschool children. Use of relative clauses increases throughout childhood and into adolescence (Nippold et al., 2005). Understanding and using complex sentences is an important skill for later writing and reasoning.
This pack contains:
- 32 clear images to introduce the concept of relative clauses to children who have language difficulties.
